Why Coconut-Derived Surfactants?

Standard household detergents and personal care washes rely on cheap, petroleum-based sulfates like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) or Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES). While these chemicals produce heavy foam, they are highly aggressive: they strip the skin's natural moisture barrier, cause contact dermatitis, and persist in aquatic environments as non-biodegradable toxins.

Sodium Coco-Sulfate

An anionic surfactant that naturally lowers the surface tension of water, allowing it to penetrate and lift stubborn oil, grease, and carbonized residues from dishes and floors on a molecular level.

Coco-Glucoside

A non-ionic, ultra-gentle foaming agent that stabilizes clean bubbles. It ensures our hand and body washes produce a rich, velvety lather that cleanses without drying or irritating sensitive skin.

The Chemistry of Clean

Surfactant molecules have a dual nature: a hydrophilic (water-loving) head and a lipophilic (oil-loving) tail. When you dilute our House & Co. concentrate (1:20 for household care, 1:8 for personal care), these molecules organize into microscopic spheres called micelles.

As you spray or wipe, the lipophilic tails bind directly to soil, grease, and bacteria, trapping them in the center of the micelle. The hydrophilic heads keep the micelle suspended in the water, allowing you to rinse away the dirt completely, leaving surfaces pristine and residue-free.
