We started by taking the water out of the bottle. The next step is taking the bottle out of the bin for good.
Every House & Co. refill replaces a single-use bottle that was mostly water. That is the 90% we already save. The last 10% is the concentrate bottle itself, and we are working on a return-and-refill loop so that one goes too.
Luxury that does not cost the river
A clean home should feel like a quiet luxury: a counter that smells of mandarin, a floor that dries without streaks, hands that are soft after washing. None of that needs a new bottle every month. We design for the home first, and let the planet benefit from the same decision.
The 90% factor
A ready-to-use cleaner is about nine parts water in a bottle built for one trip. A concentrate sends only the part that cleans, and your tap does the rest. Twenty refills from one bottle means twenty bottles that are never made, filled, driven across Egypt, or thrown into the Nile.
The 2030 goal
Zero plastic footprint for household care. The refill bottle you keep is the first step. The concentrate bottle you return is the second. By 2030 we want every House & Co. bottle in Egypt to be either refilled or back with us, with nothing left for the bin.
